Tokyo Sidecar Cocktail Recipe

Tokyo Sidecar

Ingredients:
2 ounces of Japanese Whiskey
1 ounce of Cointreau
2 ounces of Yuzu Juice
Orange twist

Directions:
Add ice, and ingredients to a mixing glass and shake. Strain and pour into a glass.

The only difference between a Tokyo Sidecar and a traditional sidecar cocktail is the use of yuzu juice instead of lemon juice.

Yuzu juice can be hard to find in the United States. It can be ordered on Amazon or pick up a cup at a Japanese restaurant.

For presentation sake or for added sweetness, slide an orange peel around the rim and place rim in sugar.

The drink is tarty and if you are looking to ease up the taste, add a splash of ginger ale.
