My daughter has a wonderful imagination as she bounces around from one toy to another. And oftentimes, she mixes them all up together. One minute she’s in her room having a tea party with her stuffed animals and the next her dolls are having a battle royal. She is equal parts princes and construction worker. So I was thrilled when I received an email from Funrise Toys that showed girls playing with construction vehicles and agreed to work with them. And when combined with Bright Fairy Friends, my daughter has the perfect playtime moment.
Usually, her playtime starts out with banging the construction truck against the wall. A little later, the fairy joins in the fun and they work together. She has no concept of what a “boy toy” is or what a “girl toy” is, she just knows what she likes to play with. I’m glad toy companies are much different today than they were when I was growing up when toys and kids were placed into categories.
Disclaimer: I have partnered with the toy companies mentioned in the post. The words are my own.
Ah, the magic of play. May that imagination continue unfettered. I also wish I could sit cross-legged like that 🙂
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
