Stouffer’s FitKitchen Meals are Here to Help the Active and Fit Families

FitKitchen 2A Wingman is someone that looks out for you. Someone that keeps you in line and helps you make good decisions. If something (or someone) that could cause a problem approaches, then the wingman steps up and voices his (or her) concern.

Before I was married, the wingman was especially important. He helped keep me in check and looked out for my well-being. Now that I’m married and have kids, that type of wingman is no longer needed. I’ve got my head on straight. (Well, mostly.) But because of my busy life, I need a new type of wingman.

I’m a stay-at-home dad with a lot of responsibilities, errands, and things to do. I’m a soccer coach and volunteer in my community. There are weeks where I have no time to cook big meals and we jump from one event to another. Take today for instance; my schedule includes swim lessons, a taekwondo class, a meeting, and a possible doctor’s appointment. Cooking a big meal is out of the question. Come suppertime, I’m going to be tired and hungry. I may need some help. Thankfully, I have a wingman.

Stouffer’s new FitKitchen meals are here and are ready to help. The 6 different frozen meals take around 6 minutes to cook in the microwave and they fill the hunger void that quickly needs conquering. And while they are filling, they are friendly to the waistline at around 400 calories or less per meal. And because my family is so active, the 25 grams of protein that each meal offers are a huge plus, not to mention the vegetables.

TrophyNothing can equal a good four-course home-cooked meal, but for most of us, that’s just unrealistic on a daily basis. Stouffer’s FitKitchen helps fill the gaps on those days where we simply cannot spend another minute in the kitchen or on our feet. Whether we are simply exhausted or short on time, our wingman is ready to step in and look out for us.

Stouffers FitKitchen meals can be found in the frozen food section at the grocery store.
