Healthy Heights Brings the Protein to my Active Kids

For the most part, we’re healthy eaters. We eat our share of veggies and fruits and I make sure my kids eat well-balanced meals. When my oldest was home and playing soccer, he digested as much protein as possible. Often, we used shakes. He’s in the Army now, but searching for healthy protein shakes continues in my house because my youngest son is playing soccer.

My youngest son has a dream of playing pro soccer one day. Even though he’s only eleven, it’s not outside of the possibility. He follows a workout plan, and he completes soccer drills in the backyard. I’ve also added a daily protein shake to his diet.

When my oldest was playing soccer and drinking protein shakes, we had to do a lot of research about how much protein was healthy for a kid. We didn’t have Healthy Heights in our cabinet to help us decide. Thankfully, my other soccer player can make himself a Healthy Heights protein shake anytime he wants.

Healthy Heights protein powder shakes include 10gm of protein and essential nutrients for a well-balanced diet. The shakes come in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. My family loves all 3, but enjoys chocolate the most. The shakes are also a great source of Calcium, Zinc, Iron, and Vitamins A, C, and D. My kids are not picky eaters, but the shakes would come in handy for those families with children that turn their noses away from their plates.

And if you’re worried about allergies, Healthy Heights shakes are free of peanuts, gluten, soy, corn syrup, and artificial colors and flavors and no GMOs.

My son even gets a little creative with his shakes. He’ll add frozen fruit to the vanilla powder, or add peanut butter and bananas to the chocolate shake. I’ve even added the chocolate protein powder to my coffee and make iced coffee protein shakes.

Some days, we have soccer games early in the morning. My kids don’t have an appetite when they first wake up, and often, we have to get out the door in a hurry. On those days, it’s easy to whip together a shake for my son to drink on the way.

We first started drinking Healthy Heights last summer, and it’s held a place in my cupboard ever since. With soccer season underway, there will be a lot of shaking going on.
