I’ve been battling plantar fasciitis for a long time. I’m currently training for the NYC Marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association and I looked into ways to ease the pain in my foot. I was having little success until I found Alleviate Therapy.
Before my marathon training began, there was something else on my calendar that I needed to be pain free to accomplish. That was visiting Disney World with my family.
Anyone that has ever visited any of the Disney theme parks knows your feet kill at the end of the day. I was going into the vacation with my feet already hurting and was afraid my painful moments would ruin my kids’ happiness.
Along with all my Disney themed t-shirts, my Alleviate kit made the journey to Orlando in my suitcase. The kit included a plantar fasciitis massager, compression socks, a therapy boot, and a massage cream.
We would come back to the hotel for a mid-day break and I would spend a few minutes using the foot massager. If I was walking around in the room, I wore the boot. I did the same thing at the end of the night. The compression socks were great, and I wore them throughout the day. Before I went to bed, I applied the cream to my heel.
I still had many moments of discomfort while walking around Disney World, but I couldn’t have made it through without the use of the Alleviate Plantar Fasciitis Kit. The vacation gave me an idea of how to use each item to prepare for my upcoming marathon.
Whether you’re going to Disney, running a marathon, or just wanting to get through a day of work, I recommend looking into Alleviate. It helped me at Disney and is currently helping me with marathon training.
As I said at the top, I’m running the NYC Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. If you feel inclined, please donate to my fundraising page here.

Sounds like a good product worth trying.
I’m a dog walker and walk about 8 miles a day. Had you tried any other things before landing on this product? I’m getting inserts made, have been stretching my calf several times a day and found recovery slippers to use while at home so I’m never bare foot (so have that extra support) I’m interested in this product since we will be doing a week at Disney world this summer. But am in the fence to spend the extra money on TOP of custom inserts.
I go to physical therapy and have it stretched and massage once a week. I also had inserts made, which I’m not crazy about. I suppose in the long run the inserts will help, but I’m not a fan of them. I wear slippers around the house as well as the boot from Alleviate. The boot has been a big help. I’m a writer, so I place the massager under my desk and rub my foot over it several times a day. I wear compression socks every time I go for a run or to the gym and I can tell they help.
