Mondays are laundry day in my house. So is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. When you have a family of 6, an Everest size laundry pile overtakes the house. To say I abhor laundry is an understatement. If I skip a day of doing laundry, it can take me a whole day to finish the task. And not only is laundry time consuming and laborious, but is also annoying because of the various loads that need to be accomplished. My wife has delicate work clothes that require a separate cycle than the rest. Then I’ll have whites, hots, and my son’s soccer uniforms.
For families like mine, you dream of the day you can afford a laundry service. Some magical laundry fairy swings by your home and picks up numerous bags of laundry and returns them the next day. Since a laundry fairy isn’t an option, there is a washer that can make life easier for the person who thanklessly undertakes the job of doing the laundry.
The LG Twin Wash and LG Sidekick washes two separate loads at the same time. That cuts down laundry time in half. For instance, I could toss a full load into the top of the washer while placing a smaller load of my wife’s delicates in the bottom. Then, in the next load, I could wash our hots in the larger container and wash whites in the bottom. This gives me more time to do other things, like the dishes, dusting, and…. Well, you get the idea.
The LG Twin Wash and LG Sidekick are game-changers for the stay-at-home parent. Now I’m hoping for Twin Wash dishwasher, Litterbox Sidekick, and LG Make a Bed.

We’re in the market for a new dryer. We had to replace our washer a few months back and got an incredible deal on the Whirlpool Cabrio. It’s a massive 5.3 cubic ft, top-loading HE washer. It holds a massive amount of clothes. The challenge is the dryer couldn’t keep up and it’s been limping on its last leg for about 3-4 months (screaming and grinding with every load). I’m hoping we can pull the trigger on the matching Cabrio dryer as it has an 8.8 cubic ft capacity.
