Maxi Micro Kick Scooter: Toy Review

maxi-micro 2My kids are a lively group and they spend a great deal of time outdoors.  They ride their bikes and scooters in all types of weather and probably annoy the neighbors with their loud laughter and shouts. My neighbors better get used to the noises since the Maxi Micro scooter has been added to our list of sidewalk activities.

When I first saw the Maxi Micro Kick Scooter, my initial thought was, “I’ve had some cars that are not this nice.” (Among my many cars, I had one that was missing a floor due to rust and another with windshield wipers that were manually operated by sticking your hand out the window and pulling a rope.  Seriously.) This scooter, on the other hand, has a sleek and cool design that will cause your kids to be the envy of the block. And if you have kids like mine, you’ll appreciate the durability of the scooter as they channel their inner Evel Knievel.

The scooter is also easy to steer and has a surprisingly smooth ride for a scooter. My wife and I are jealous of such a cool scooter and are hoping for a couple of our own, in an adult sizes, of course.

Pros: The sliding handle bar adjusts to your child’s height and, because of the durability of the scooter, it will last them for years.

Cons: The scooters are quite expensive and any parent will have to ask themselves if their kids will use the scooter enough to fork over that much money. That being said, if you live in the city, where scooters are a major mode of transportation, and you factor in how long they last (and the fact that you can buy replacement parts if something does break), they are worth the price.

Price: $129.99

Ages: 5-11

  1. At the end of the day we should always consider the safety and the interest of how kids. Also a very helpful tip:
