botti bot: Toy Review

botti bot

botti botMy son has remote control cars, helicopters, and tanks. None of those are interesting to my daughter. She enjoys pushing buttons and moving things around, but those “boyish” toys as she likes to call them aren’t her style. Blip Toys new botti bots, are remote control toys that most children will enjoy playing with.

Note that I said “children” and not “girls.” This is one toy that all kids, boys and girls, will enjoy.  (Finally, a toy company gets that if you build a fun toy, you don’t have to pander to gender stereo-types.) They are colorful and, dare I say, cute. The remote comes with 6 commands that help the bot interact and move with ease. They are not hard to figure out and are easily controlled, unlike many other remote control toys. The toy also comes with a variety of sounds and lights.

They will be released in late July.

Pros: Young kids will have fun playing with the bot and since it is easy to manage, will be able to jump right in and play immediately and with little instruction.

Cons: Like most remote control toys, this one is a little pricey.

Ages: 4 and up

Price: $39.99

*The company provided a sample of the product for my review, but I was not compensated and the opinions are my own.
