Ever wonder why the lines of a box drawing can move on you and take different shapes, or why, when staring at a picture full of dots, they can suddenly move on you? If so, then Eye Benders is a great book for you. The book is full of pictures that will amaze you by the tricks they play on your eyes. Some pictures spin while others move around. And in the case of a picture of skull, if you stare at it long enough and then look at a light, the skull will appear before your eyes. Very eerie and very cool.

With each picture comes an explanation of why your mind is playing tricks on you.

My daughter and I continue to get a kick out of staring at a picture until suddenly another picture seems to magically appear. Some of the creepier pictures that have appeared have caused us to giggle quite loudly. Yeah, I’m a dad and I giggle. Deal with it. My daughter loved this book so much that I’ve caught her several times reading it while she’s supposed to be asleep. Hard to be upset at a kid for reading though.
