If you were a parent between 2006 and 2015, you probably have fond memories of playing Nintendo Wii with your kids. My oldest is graduating from his school now and we mention the Wii often. Sadly, our Wii bit the dust a long time ago. Ever since we’ve been wanting a new one to let the younger kids know about how much fun the games were. I didn’t want to pull the trigger on buying one though since games are no longer being made.
When the Nintendo Switch came out a few years ago, I began hoping something similar to Wii Sports would come out for the Switch. And the Nintendo Gods must’ve heard my request because Nintendo Switch Sports is out now!
Nintendo Switch Sports is everything I hoped it would be. People can play tennis, bowling, volleyball, soccer, chambira (sword fighting), and badminton. My favorite is Tennis, my 6-year-old loves bowling, and my 10-year-old son’s favorite is chambira. To say that I’m excited about the new possibilities with the Switch would be an understatement. I’m thrilled about the newest Nintendo release and I look forward to the games that will be released (Golf comes out in the fall). I’m personally hoping boxing, and baseball will be next.
