Kodak PixPro SP1 Action Cam: Product Review

My new favorite toy is the Kodak PixPro SP1. I have taken the camera hiking and under water. And since it can take a beating, I let my kids play around with it and shoot movies or take pictures. We are really having a ball with this camera.

The camera is so small that the whole thing fits in the palm of my hand, which is great when you don’t want to pack a lot of gear for a trip. I have yet to do this, but the camera also comes with a mount that you can attach to a bike or a helmet. My family is going on a ski vacation in January and I can’t wait to test out the camera on the slopes.

Here are some of the camera’s specifics:

  • 32 ft / 10m Waterproof
  • 6.5 ft / 2m Shockproof
  • Dustproof
  • Freezeproof
  • Full HD 1080p Video
  • 14MP CMOS
  • 10 fps Burst Shooting
  • 1.5” LCD
  • Wireless Connection

The Kodiak PixPro SP1 would make a great gift for anyone that enjoys an adventurous lifestyle. The camera would also make a great gift for those parents that like to catch every detail regardless of conditions.

MSRP $199
