One World Observatory Transforms into Winter ONEderland during Christmas Season

The highest Winter Wonderland (or Onederland) in New York City can be found inside One World Observatory. From November 17th through January 7th, One World Observatory will be transformed into Santa’s home.

The journey to visit Santa begins in Glacier Cave and will trek through an underground grotto before taking flight in the fasting moving elevator in the western hemisphere. The elevator ride isn’t just a way to get to the top floor, but provides a visually entertaining experience while being zoomed to Santa’s doorstep.

While touring One World Observatory, kids will get a kick out of searching for Ollie the Owl. My kids stopped at every opportunity to see where Ollie flew off to next.

Once at the top, take a seat with Santa and share what you want for Christmas.

Hours: 9am to 9pm – Give yourself plenty of time if you are wanting to watch the sunset from the Observatory. Many people will have the same idea. To beat the crowds, it is best to go at opening.
