Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD: Product Review

lenovo yoga tablet 2There’s been a lot of debate lately as to how much a child should be using a tablet. I am not going to debate that here. But I will say that tablets have become a big part of my family’s life. Not only am I a travel blogger and dad blogger, but I am also a homeschool parent. My kids use my tablets while we are traveling and for homeschool purposes. Okay, I’ll admit it. We also use tablets for entertainment purposes.

For people who sport similar shoes to my own, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD would be a good fit into your hand. One reason it will fit so nicely is the base makes for an easy grab. The base also flips out to make a nice stand.

The tablet has a nice clear picture with a (1920 x 1200) IPS display and 10-point multitouch capacitive touchscreen. All that techy language means the tablet has a big and clear picture. Because of the easy to use touchscreen, my kids were able to look up information for reports, take notes, or to squelch curiosity. A part of our homeschooling is looking up current happenings on the New York Times website. My kids enjoyed reading the news on the tablet because of the easy to hold side handle. The sound is also nice and loud in part to the Dolby audio 2 large front facing speakers. Kids will not fight in the back seat of the car over not being able to hear whatever movie they are watching.

Another great aspect of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 that I appreciate is the long battery life. This is something everyone can be thankful for. The battery life runs 18 hours, which is great for travel bloggers who often go long periods of time without a charge.

Price: $299.99

Disclaimer: I received a product sample for my review, but I was not compensated and the opinions are my own.

  1. That is a ridiculously long battery life. I know that comes in handy. We have an iPad that the kids literally destory every single day, perhaps when they get older we will get them something more permanent. How long have you been homeschooling? My wife and I considered it for a little bit but then we realized we didn’t know the first thing about homeschooling.
