My summer days are spent trying to find ways to entertain my kids while keeping cool. My latest find – free bowling.
How it works:
Parents must sign their kids up through www.KidsBowlFree.com. There are locations all over the United States, so hopefully you will be able to find a bowling alley near you. Once you sign up, tickets will be emailed to you. Each kid will be able to play two free games of bowling each day. The only thing you’ll have to pay for is the shoe rental.
I recently went bowling with a large group of kids and they all had a great time. My 2 year old bowled with a ramp while my 8 and 10 year old used the gutter bumpers. We brought our own snacks and drinks and didn’t receive any dirty looks for not purchasing food from the bowling alley.
If you are looking for a fun way to entertain your kids in a nice cool environment, sign your kids up. Kids Bowl Free could also be a cheap way to see if you have a future bowler on your hands.
